Each command that is available from the command toolbar is listed below and a short description is given. Also, if there are any keyboard shortcuts associated with a command, they are noted.
Only visible if a newer version of ART is available. If you click this icon, a dialog will displayed offering the option to open the download page in a browser window. If you decline, you also have the option to disable notifications for this version.
Load a save game.
Reload the currently loaded file.
Save the currently loaded save game. The "LED" on the icon is green when there have been no changes to the save game since it was loaded. If there are, it will turn yellow.
Save the save game under a new name.
Select the country from the currently loaded save game for which the OOB should be displayed.
Show/hide the QuickSelect window.

Open the filter management window.
Open the division factory window.
Find all units for which either the unit or leader name, at least partially, matches the entered search string.

Step forwards through the search results. Only available after the find unit command has been issued and more than one unit was found.

Step backwards through the search results. Only available after the find unit command has been issued and more than one unit was found.

Toggle visibility of the left panel.
Hotkey: [F2]
Toggle visibility of the right panel.
Hotkey: [F3]
Toggle display tooltips for the unit cards in either the main or the side view.
Hotkey: [t]
Change the ratio between width and height of the unit card layout used for the main view. The farther the bar goes to the right, the wider the layout becomes.
Set the layout engine to a pseudo-geographical display mode.
Cycle through bulk mode sub modes.
Hotkey: [m] (cycle between layout modes), [M] (cycle between sub modes)
Show the options window.
Hotkey: [F12]
Take a snapshot of the contents of the main view and copy them to the clipboard or save them to disk.

Show the online help in a browser window.
